New York (BNW) In a world of political correctness, it appears that your opinion is not worth shit if it offends homosexuals for a lifestyle that is abhorrent at best, and down right nasty at worse. The whole gay community got their panties caught between their cheeks over the statements Tracy Morgan made about gays. While I am got a Tracy Morgan fan, I hope he doesnt go down in flames like Isaiah Washington the embattled Grey's Anatomy star who used an antigay slur to address a coworker on the show, and was fired from his job never to be seen or heard from again.
Like Morgan, Washington apologized and did TV commercials to show his contrition, but he went down in flames anyway. I hope after Morgans apology, he doesnt suffer the same fate as Washington, but gays are not a forgiving bunch, to say the least
.
"I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville," Morgan said in a statement.
"I'm not a hateful person and don't condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context," he went on to state.
Morgan's remarks came at the June 3 Nashville performance when he said that if his son was gay that he would take out a knife and kill him, and the gay community went on the attack, saying the statement promoted violence against gays and lesbians.
"Jokes that make light of violence directed at gay and lesbian youth aren't only offensive, they put our kids in harm's way," said Jarrett Barrios, president of the gay and lesbian campaign group GLAAD.
"Tracy Morgan must not only apologize, but assure us that this won't happen again and send a clear message to Americans that anti-gay violence is no joke," Barrios said on Friday.
Tracy Morgan, who has three children, also claimed that being gay is a choice and something that kids learn from the media, according to media reports. Most real men would find it hard to accept a son who announces to the world that hes gay, but I dont think they would go and killed them.
When Don Lemon, anchor at CNN said, 'I Was Born Gay, Just As I Was Born Black, I think that statement is at the heart of the gay and lesbian controversy. I disagree whole headedly with the precept that the gay lifestyle is not a lifestyle choice, like the gay community wants you to believe. One more thing about gays have you forgotten who gave AIDS to the world with their sick sexual actions? ... Today, more than 100 million people have died from this awful plague, and the world has never placed the blame on the gay agenda.
You were not born gay or lesbian; you were born a baby, and yall prancing around with that lie is a joke to any intelligent, thinking human. Since yall have made a choice that most people of my generation detest, then yall must accept the condemnation of people who dont share your opinion or lifestyle.
Most people have learned to live with the gay and lesbian lifestyle choice made by some people, but dont try and force your deviant behavior on people who dont accept you and your freakish ways. Finally, a man screwing another man is wrong, and a woman licking on another woman is wrong. We dont need the Bible to tell us that. That being said, the gay agenda is of satan the devil, and they have a stranglehold on the world. Their deception and lies have the whole world fooled!
