Ever think the reason people don't want to go in and rescue people is BECAUSE SOME IDIOTS ARE SHOOTING GUNS AT THEM? It has nothing to do with property -- it has to do with the safety of the rescuers and other survivors.
 
The lawless idiots need to be stopped so the rescuers can work safely -- and so the people who need to be rescued aren't assaulted before the rescuers arrive.
 
If you want to direct anger, direct it at the government's complete lack of responsiveness. Bush should be ashamed at his complete lack of leadership on this -- and so should all of the state and local politicians.
